Dr. Kusum Deep received her B.Sc. Honours and M.Sc. Honours from Panjab University, Chandigarh and her M.Phil (with Gold Medal) and PhD from University of Roorkee, now Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Currently she is working as an Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. She has written a book on Optimization Techniques and authored 40 research papers in International Refereed Journals and around presented 70 research papers in National and International Conferences. She is o the Editorial Board of many Journals related to Artificial Intelligence.
