Dr. Abdalla S.A.Mohamed is Ph.D. in Systems & Biomedical Engineering (1982). He got M.Sc.in Computer Engineering (1978), M.Sc. in Computer Science (1974), B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (1970). Dr.Mohamed joined Cairo University in 1983 where he is currently a professor and chairman of Systems & Biomedical Engineering department. In 1984, he was awarded a scholarship from NIH, Maryland, and USA for Medical Instrumentation Prototyping. During 1985-1986, he joined group of System Engineering, University of Waterloo, Canada. He was Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science, University of Regina, Canada (1986-1989) and Associate Professor in Faculty of Medicine & Health Science, University of United Arab Emirates (1991-1993). His research interests are concentrated in the fields of Biological signals processing, medical images analysis, pattern recognition, and Artificial Intelligence.
